Concept Design

 
So this is kind of what I was thinking for the site....
 
-Green Roof on top w/ gardening space
-Lower floor commercial space (resteraunts and shops)
-Second floor office space
-Third to sixth floor residential

    I like how your building fits in with the neighborhood and nearly matches the height of the library. Six stories allows the area to become more dense, but still keeps things in a human scale. I think the green roof would be so sweet to have in an apartment, reminded me of this story I seen on the news about hydroponic gardening on rooftops! http://www.vancitybuzz.com/2012/08/downtown-vancouver-rooftop-garden-first-of-its-kind-in-north-america/
